Howwwwwwwwwwwdy-ho from the Advent Hill Zone, where we've been getting all festive by way of a box of Sonic the Hedgehog toys.

We've struck gold! It's a Super Ring!
Star Post #1: General Info
Super Rings, as indicated by the gigantic 10 in the middle of them, are worth 10 Rings when your character picks them up. While they made their first appearance in the original Sonic the Hedgehog as an item held within a Monitor, the accessory WE just got is based on the version that just floats out in the open from the later games. (First introduced in Sonic Unleashed.) No matter how they're presented, though, they always do the same thing.
Star Post #2: Trivia
While Super Ring is the name used in the original game as well as for the item's most recent appearances, it's also been called a "10 Ring Bonus" or simply "10 Rings" depending on the title. It goes by "Big 10 Ring" in Japan.
Goal Plate: Closing Thoughts
A rare Modern Sonic item in this decidedly Classic-style Calendar! Kinda neat.
