Day 5! We're a fifth of the way to Christmas!
It's our first 8-star Monster! Give a warm (but not too warm) welcome to Ice Queen!
General Observation:
Being an 8-star Monster, Ice Queen is very powerful and a good offensive force for a Water Monster deck. She also provides support for a Spellcaster deck, as if she's sent to the Graveyard while you have three or more of them resting there, you can add a Spell you've used previously or discarded back to your hand. Very handy for stuff like Double Summon or powerful Equip Spells.
Trivia Observation:
We've got another manga card here! Ice Queen was used by Alexis Rhodes in Chapter 19 of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga in her duel against Reggie Mackenzie. Interestingly, her effect is completely different in the manga, instead having the ability to take control of a Water Monster on your opponent's side of the field.
Personal Observation:
Another card I've used in Duel Links! I'm curious to see just how many manga cards we'll have by Christmas.
